1200 – WOAI
The big ‘weekly fantasy sports’ operators, including DraftKings and Fan Duel, are banding together in Texas, starting a political action committee to fight back against talk of declaring the games to be illegal gambling, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
“Fantasy Sports for All” says it is urging the thousands of people who participate in the games to write, call, or e-mail Attorney General Ken Paxton, telling him that he needs to ‘stay out of their business’ and ‘focus on more pressing issues facing the state of Texas.’
